Everyone needs a “pal” in their corner when it comes to real estate! As a former elementary school principal, Joe Ciulla works hard to be your principal realtor! He was born and raised in northwest New Jersey and now Joe makes the beautiful Hilton Head Latitude Margaritaville community his home. He enjoys the connections he has with his neighbors and making new friends. Joe is a family man, married to his wife Renee for 30 years. He is extremely proud of his 2 children, Vincent who is an ER nurse in Austin, Texas, and AnnMarie who is a yoga instructor and wellness expert on Hilton Head Island and Bluffton.

Joe has a diverse education and career background. Always a hard worker, he put himself through college by working in the restaurant business and in a family excavating/home building business. Joe held a NJ Builder’s License and earned a NJ Real Estate License. College culminated in three undergraduate degrees, one in Hotel Restaurant Management, another in Business Administration and a third in Physical Education and Health. Finally, Joe earned his Master's degree in School Leadership. Always a strong and dedicated student, he graduated with honors with all his degrees.

After college, Joe began an exemplary 29-year career in education. He started off as an elementary school physical education teacher in Colts Neck, New Jersey. Joe was promoted to an elementary school assistant principal in Bernardsville, New Jersey, and ultimately served the final 12 years of his education career as an elementary school principal in Long Valley, New Jersey. He was very honored to be named the Teacher of the Year representing Bedwell Elementary School. He was instrumental in Bedwell School’s National School of Character Award. Another very prestigious recognition was the National Blue Ribbon School Award. This coveted national citation was bestowed upon the Old Farmers Road School community while Joe was principal, leading a dynamic group of educators.

Joe makes his family and personal fitness a priority. He has always been a hardworking, sincere, and detail-oriented person. Joe now enjoys helping people work through their real estate goals with Howard Hanna Allen Tate. His mission is to exceed your real estate expectations, delivering on his promise to provide distinguished service to you. Most importantly to him, he prioritizes making new friends along the way and developing long term relationships.
